We are hiring a part-time receptionist for Nanaimo Elements Holistic Centre & Spa.
The candidate needs to have a flexible schedule. After training, the candidate will work 3 afternoons per week with more hours to come in the new year, and additional on call work available to cover staff leave.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Excellent attention to detail.
Experience working as a receptionist or assistant in the personal services industry.
Ability to follow instructions and established protocols to support the day-to-day operations of a busy salon.
Superior customer service skills.
Proficient computer skills and familiarity with social media.
Duties include:
Reception – Managing bookings, responding to customer inquiries from various sources, and accurately processing payments.
Salon Operations – Cleaning, disinfecting and sterilizing rooms, linens and instruments.
Office Systems – Maintaining computer and manual systems.
Retail – Developing product knowledge and assisting clients with purchase decisions.
Inventory – Managing retail products, professional stock, and office supplies.
Compensation levels are commensurate with the upper end of this industry.
